The Tomato of Discord

Havana/On the Youth Labor Army’s half-empty market stands at 17th and K Street in Havana this morning, there were only green tomatoes and some very low quality food. The year has begun with a marked shortage that some attribute to the year-end festivities, while others point to a possible introduction of price controls as the cause of the food shortages.
